3. Scope of Services

• Travel arrangements — we offer travel packages and arrangements as detailed on the website. Itineraries, schedules, and activities are provided as a guide. We reserve the right to modify or substitute any element due to unforeseen circumstances (for example weather, regulatory changes, or other factors beyond our control).
• Third-party services — where applicable, some services (such as flights, accommodations, or local transport) are provided by affiliated or third-party providers. In those cases we act as an agent and are not responsible for loss, injury, or inconvenience arising from acts or omissions of those third parties.
• Car rental — chauffeur-driven vehicle hire is quoted on request. Vehicle class, driver inclusion, fuel policy, and insurance terms are confirmed in writing before booking.

4. Booking, Payment, and Confirmation

• Booking process — all bookings are subject to availability. To confirm a booking, you must complete the registration and payment process as outlined during your reservation.
• Payment terms — full payment, or the required deposit, must be received at the time of booking (or by the deadline stated in your quote). Prices are typically quoted in USD unless otherwise agreed, and may be subject to taxes, fees, or other charges required by law or by individual service providers.
• Confirmation — upon successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation by email. That confirmation is evidence of your reservation with the Company.
• Modifications — changes requested after booking (itinerary, participant details, dates, and similar) are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

5. Cancellation, Alteration, and Refund Policy

• User-initiated cancellation or alteration — if you wish to cancel or amend your booking, notify us in writing as early as possible. Cancellation fees may apply based on how close the cancellation is to the travel date. Specific fees and conditions will be detailed in your booking confirmation.

• Liability — to the fullest extent permitted by applicable Ethiopian and international law, Lalibela Expeditions shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or participation in travel arrangements, whether based on contract, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise.
• Force majeure — the Company shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, or governmental restrictions.
• Service discrepancies — while we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the complete accuracy or reliability of every detail on our website. Users should independently verify details important to their travel.
